Jeff Sterling

Jeff has worked in the music and recording industry all his life in one form or another, being a Recording Engineer, Producer, Composer, Sound Designer and Musician, systems designer and installation technician. 

Jeff has worked with The Grateful Dead doing production for the Band and Mickey Hart’s plethora of world music, composed, recorded and did FOH mixing on Planet Drum Tour, which received a Grammy for Best World Music CD. He has many years’ experience in both live and studio production.

With Illuminated Media we pioneered the Odd and Distinct credo in corporate and advertising circles and won many sales pitches for our high-profile advertising clients. Jeff has done video and music production for Records, CD’s, TV Shows, Music Videos, Documentaries, Television Series, Multi Media, Live performance and more.

Austin Solis

Austin Solis is a Northern California native that has spent his life in music, fine arts, and entertainment. His adult life has been spent alongside artists, musicians, and live event professionals. A classically and jazz trained musician, he grew up in the country North of San Francisco and proved himself on the streets of LA. He’s a live audio engineer, a systems technician, performer, technical director, and educator. Having worked events for major tech companies, elected officials, and national touring musical acts, Austin has a deep understanding of live and corporate production. From Facebook to John Legend, Austin has been on crew for some of today’s most demanding events and productions.

From his education, experience playing guitar in jazz big bands, as a DJ in Southern California, and as an Engineer for major corporate and national touring acts, Austin has an ear and a technical facility that is well honed and ready to be placed under the highest pressure. He’s no stranger to the pace of live broadcast and festival events.

Austin has worked closely with some of Pro Audio’s storied past. He built a recording studio with Art Kelm, VP of Operations at Capitol Records, installed professional PA systems with Sound Expressions, and worked as a studio manager for Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead. He’s been on stage with some of today’s top musical acts. As well as provided professional sound reinforcement for some of today’s most influential people.
